A fantastic spot for family relaxation, especially if you have kids. They can enjoy biking, swimming in the pool or playing in the sand.

The location is amazing. The children felt straight at home and lot was prepared for them: bikes, toys, painting, balls,…. It is a quite location, no neighbours, amazing views (sun rise and sun set) and the stars at night makes the experience complete. We choose for this location because it was close to Rome and close to lake Bolsena.

The place is a hidden gem, absolutely amazing. Very private, beautiful gardens, pretty view. Terraces on 2 sides of the house so you can catch (or avoid) sun all day long. Spacious, clean and well equipped house. There is an amazing playground for young children, with all sorts of toys and a sand box. Grazia is the most welcoming host we have ever had - she left painting materials for us, various types of snacks and even a large container of local gelato.

Amazing place and amazing Host! We've chosen Poggio della Stella because we really appreciate houses separated from any neighbours, with vast space and great views. House is perfectly clean, beatifuly furnished, very nice design so you feel someone put true heart into it. Art all over makes the place cosy and original, espacially when you realize it was created by host herself. Important thing is there are lots of things available when you come - painting canvases and accesories, net, paddles, balls, toys, barbecue set and many others. Swimming pool is a great addition too, perfect on steamy hot summer days, well kept and clean as everything else, but olive garden is even better. Big area covered with those trees - just splendid. Host welcomed us with pizza, beer and olive oil (yes, local one) - sounds simple, but it was truly heartily and spontaneous gesture which we really appreciated. We had no problems with changing arrival hours even though traffic jam stopped us efficently. I heard some people cried leaving Poggio and I would say it's no surprise, this place is just magical, stellar indeed. Finally, I recommend to visit Blera - town nearby. It's not loud and huge as Rome, but restaurants are great and experience is original for sure, not so affected by tourists and pop culture.
