An old coaching inn about half an hours drive from Calais. Pretty exterior brickwork. Plentiful adjacent parking. Warm welcome and cheerful all-female f.o.h staff. Short but enticing menu with local specialities , basic wine list, but wide ranging. Excellent cooking and good value Felt welcomed. Breakfast was "the usual" continental, with delicious home made jams.

Just overall a very typically French vibe that's difficult to describe - the décor is a little bit shabby or dusty, but they take care of the important things: hospitality, food, comfortable bed. The owners and staff were very friendly. The bed was comfortable, the shower had plenty of hot water. The restaurant is excellent, we had a lovely meal there one night. Breakfast was good too (croissants, pains au chocolat, bread, ham, fruit, yoghurt pots...) Free parking on the village square. There's a nice park just over the road. There's a lot of things to see and do in the area. Oh, and they had separate bins in the hallway for recycling paper, plastic and glass, which was useful!
