Excellent find close to the lake (my room had a lake view). By Bled standards, Vila Gorenka is excellent value. Room was good with solid wifi. A communal kitchen with basic equipment and coffee making facilities is available in an external building.

If you are expecting a modern 3-4 star hotel you will be disappointed. Vila Gorenka is a period villa with period facilities, it is quirky but not unenjoyable. It's like staying in a lovely old seaside villa - you love the ambience, you live the old radios and lamps and balconies and bathrooms but you wish a couple of things were improved. Our room did not have tea or coffee making facilities these were provided in a room off the ground floor courtyard outside. There is a fridge but no microwave or cooking facilities. The staff were great, very helpful and informative.
