Hotel Kompas was ideal for our short stay in Bled, the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable and quiet, the breakfast was nice and with plenty of options, and the hotel location couldn't be better - right in the heart of the town and only a couple of minutes from the lake. Parking was included in the rate, which was a bonus. An additional note of appreciation to the staff who helped me after realised I had left some belongings in my room at the Kompas, only after arriving at our next destination (2 hours away in Portoroz). The staff found my belongings, packaged them up and gave me a good recommendation to have them shipped to my next location - so a big thanks to the housekeeping and reception staff for that.

The staff were exceptional, helpful, professional and cheerful. The location was outstanding, the food was wonderful and the rooms were very clean.

First the good things: Good location although only certain rooms have a scenic outlook. Generally friendly staff. Excellent breakfast with a wide variety to choose from. A nice little covered pool with outside sun beds. Lovely terrace bar area.
