We stayed in a two bedroom apartment which was very comfortable and beautifully appointed. The salt water swimming pool was really nice and is a very pleasant place to relax. Stephane and Christine are extremely friendly hosts who made our stay extra special and memorable with their kindness and hospitality. Nothing was too much trouble for them.

Charming centrally located historic buildings with natural gardens. Well decorated room with thoughtfully designed shower and toilet. Our room had a large, comfortable bed with memory foam mattress. Our host, Stephane gave us an enthusiastic welcome and had plenty of recommendations for places to eat in Blaye, wine tasting experiences etc. Breakfast (created by Christine and Stephane) is a communal affair - all the guests around a big table, an international experience with families from the UK, Netherlands, Norway, Paris and Germany during our visit. Fresh plums from the garden, bread, cheeses and ham, croissants, eggs and more. Generous amounts of tea or coffee too. Parking is within the property and protected by an electric gate, access is by code.

Unique, very old yet tastefully and comfortably appointed. Fantastic hosts and great breakfast. The pool was welcome too.

Perfect location close to the Citadel with secure parking. Beautifully restored, maintained, and decorated throughout. Gorgeous, friendly hosts for whom nothing was too much trouble. I rarely post reviews but made an exception in this case because my own experience was exceptional, too.
