Traveller reviews

“We booked at short notice and were pleaseed to have a week of sunshine and bracing seaside walks.”

The cottage is in a nice quiet location just off the High Street and we did not have trouble finding free on street parking. Local facilities are all walkable. We ate at the White horse pub and took up their offer of free Ev charging.

“Very good”

A fabulous location. Only a few minutes from the quay. Car park opposite charges £6 for 24hs if nowhere in the street. Well equipped cottage for a family. Lots of steps some fairly steep (top of stairs) and into basement so fine for most people to access. Our dog was welcome so we took a cage and they stayed in the kitchen overnight. Lovely roll top bath and additional shower room by the kitchen. The house was so warm.and comfortable throughout our stay.

“Lovely weekend break.”

This is a traditional north Norfolk courtyard cottage on the High Street, quiet, private yet centrally located. Exactly as it says in the description, it's a short walk from Blakeney Quay, from The Delicatessen, the pubs and restaurants: The White Horse, The Kings Arms, The Blakeney and The Manor House Hotel, The Two Magpies Cafe, and around the corner, in Westgate Street (with the short cut through 'The Little Lane') the excellent Spar Shop and the friendly, helpful, reasonably charging and interesting Blakeney Garage. Also, and maybe above all, the alley to the courtyard cottage is opposite the British Legion, 'The Harbour Rooms', where for a small (in London terms) charge, you can park your car, have a very decent and reasonably priced pint of local beer, something to eat many nights of the week, and exchange village gossip with the locals who perhaps you won't find many of in the afore mentioned hostelries.
