Second time we stayed here, it is ideal location for when we visit the local area. Janet and Lourie are the perfect hosts. The accommodation is excellent. The house is in the middle of Strathmore Golf Course but secluded. From the garden it is possible to see a variety of birds, and red squirrels. A very restful place to stay. A short walk away is Strathmore Golf Club Clubhouse which offers very good breakfast, lunch and evening meals

Location and accommodation were excellent. The hosts were very welcoming, and offered great hospitality. Lovely touches of milk, tea&coffee, biscuits as well as homemade fudge.

Absolutely everything. This was the perfect cosy and comfortable stay. Warm, welcoming, and with every detail thoughtfully provided. The atmosphere felt homely yet special, and the hosts (Janet & Lourie) went above and beyond to make us feel at ease. It was exactly the kind of place you hope to find but rarely do. Wonderful 4 legged companions always making sure the stay was to our liking.
