The hotel was 2 min walk from pleasure beach train station. 20 min walk to south pier and Pleasure Beach. So great location if going to visit these. The hotel itself was very comfortable (even though it was sweltering weather) we were in a family room, which was big enough for us 2, adult and child. Tea and coffee were provided in the room along with soap and towels. We also had a flat screen tv, wardrobe and table. Shower was easy enough to work out, took a while to get to correct temp, but it does give instructions how to. The staff were lovely. Very inviting. We had breakfast just the one morning (we stayed 2 nights) which was a continental. We got the choice of toast or crumpets, croissants, pan au chocolate, cereal, juice and yoghurt. The lady making the crumpets brought my daughter chocolate spread, so she was happy! Thank you! Overall we had a really nice stay so thank you to all, we will definitely come back. Just unfortunate that the weather was so hot (never happy are we!) Which made the room really hot even with the windows open. Sorry to the bar staff keep meithering you for ice to cool us down! A nice little hotel, not too expensive. Not too far from the city centre, plus next to tramway lines that can get you there in no time, it's very handy.

Basic, but still good room, the bed was very comfortable. The bar was good too.
