Traveller reviews
Georgia “A beautiful stay - with one major shortcoming.”

This is a beautiful hotel, in a wonderful location, with great views all over and a very nice restaurant. The family room we stayed in was spacious, nicely decorated and had a big balcony.

We have stayed here a couple of times and it's absolutely beautiful. We were travelling with a dog and they were very welcoming to him as well as us. We had a Seaview apartment and it was the absolute best as we got up early to watch the sunrise (not to be missed!)

You don’t end up in this place by accident — unless, of course, you do. We did. After a day spent battling Scandinavian weather so foul it felt like the gods were hazing us personally, we limped in on motorbikes from Norway, wet, wind-burned, and somewhere between exhausted and feral with hunger. Sweden’s southern edge isn’t exactly the Riviera, but tucked away on a remote little peninsula — the kind of place where the sea air smells like yesterday’s catch and everyone’s boots are salted from the spray — we stumbled across it. It wasn’t the plan. Hell, there was no plan — just a desperate search for any place that hadn’t been booked solid. By some cosmic clerical error, there were exactly two rooms left. We grabbed them like they were lottery tickets. The hotel is an oddity in the best way: polished without being pretentious, comfortable without trying too hard. The rooms? Warm, clean, and so inviting they almost convinced us to cancel the rest of the trip. Downstairs, the restaurant punches way above its weight — the sort of place where you order a “simple” dish and then sit there in quiet, reverent disbelief at how good it is. Before that, though, there was the pizza bar next door. We ducked in for a quick fix — half-starved, soaked, eyes scanning for the fastest route to calories and beer. It delivered. And the next morning? Breakfast. The kind of breakfast that makes you believe in second chances, in better days ahead, in the fundamental kindness of the Swedes. It’s a windswept little haven in a fishing village that hasn’t sold its soul to tourism yet. Part of me wants to tell you to keep driving, to let it stay a secret for people who need it, not those who seek it. But the other part of me — the part still thawing out from that ride — knows you deserve to find it, too.
