The Castle is situated in a quiet area, at the top of Bishops Castle, with spectacular views of the town. It offers 3 bars with log fires, a restaurant serving local produce, and beamed bedrooms.

A mixture of old and new, the building is both ancient and modern. All very sympathetically achieved. The decor is tasteful and pleasing. Our room was quirky and lovely with stunning views over the little town. There is locally brewed real ale and cider available in the bar, and all food on offer is excellent. This is the second time we've stayed, and I am confident that it will not be the last.
