The property been refurbished just 3 years ago so everything was still new but the house still had character and was homely and cosy. Lovely decor and furnishings. The kitchen was particularly great - huge with loads of storage space and lots of utensils etc provided, and we especially loved the under floor heating in the kitchen! A good welcome booklet was provided with lots of helpful information about the house & local area, and the owners live next door so were on hand if we needed anything. It was lovely that they left us fresh eggs, milk & Prosecco. Beautiful location, very peaceful, locals were friendly. Lovely, soft large towels were provided for the shower and warm throws provided on the sofas. We also played some of the board games that were there.
