The location was stunning and there were amazing views & scenery. Lovely seeing the cows looking over the garden fence, the sheep, rabbits and pheasants in the field behind & waving at people walking their dogs down by the river and at the farmers going past on tractors. Idyllic country retreat, lots of walks from the doorstep & village short walk away with two dog friendly pubs, a Coop shop and a (dog friendly) cafe (that serves lovely cakes and a cracking fry up). The property had most things we needed and was comfy, lovely bedding and soft furnishings. The neighbours were lovely and helpful and even moved the van from the parking bay, so that we could park there, so we were nearer to the property, to unload etc. And because they had 2 dogs, they gave our dog treats too! We enjoyed stargazing from the property and bedrooms, having a barbecue & having a real fire.

Beautiful setting. Waking up in the morning to that view. Could easily stayed longer. Just for the view.

Comfortable with just about everything we needed. (dishwasher would be nice but would compromise the kitchen layout so we get it). 2 stoves with starter packs of fuel which was great. elevated position with glorious views. It rained but it really didn’t matter. Wi-fi, internet and tv trouble free. Outside space not vast but comfortable and again, the views. We will def return

Lovely cottage. Very cosy and warm. Lovely views. Great shower. We had a lovely time. There was some tea , milk , biscuits and wine left for us . It was a nice touch. Thank you.
