Monday is an incredibly kind owner who was more than willing to work with me when there was delays in my arrival. The room is exactly what is advertised and the bed was extremely comfortable. It is only a 15 minute walk to the train station with a Greggs and McDonalds nearby for easy food. There was also local stores if you need anything else!

Fantastic value and superb host family. They even picked me and my heavy suitcase up from the station and gave me a lift to my job the following day for a very reasonable amount. The room was secure and very clean and comfortable and there was plenty of room in the shared fridge for my breakfast overnight.

I enjoyed my time at Hams' Rest Place. The family who run the location are incredibly lovely, kind and even when I made a grievous booking error, they were more than accommodating. I will happily stay again in future and look forward to it!
