For the price we paid the room was huge. The bathroom was also huge, and to my mind both were grand. The parking was extremely convenient - right near the entrance to the hotel. Minor quibble: I either had not seen or forgotten that it would be an additional £15 on top of cost of room. However given the incredibly convenient central location in Edgbaston, it makes sense that parking would not come cheap, and that is fair enough. My niece and I were both missing a regular exercise activity due to our trip (wall climbing and swimming respectively), so we really enjoyed messing about in the gym which was well stocked with the facilities you would expect. The staff were really friendly and accommodating, doing their best to give us 4 rooms as close together as possible (as the 12 of us were all one big extended family).
