The hosts were very friendly and hospitable, we felt very welcome. Breakfast was good and the champagne was very nice (we brought a box home as well). The town itself did not have as much on offer regarding champagne tasting or places to eat, but this was due to our own poor timing for visiting the region. We went to Epernay multiple times (15 minutes by car, easy to find parking) where all those things were readily available. The surrounding area is absolutely beautiful and I can definitely see us returning. The price is very good considering the area (Champagne region is expensive generally) and the value for money is good. Don't expect to spend much time at the hotel itself but only to use it as a home base for discovering the area! We didn't make use of the pool but it looked very inviting.
