The fine print
From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. Please note that any and all transfers that guests wish to arrange with the property need to be communicated to the property prior to arrival.
There will be no refund on unused meals or activities.
Resort is located on top of a hill - a walk up 538 steps staircase (100 meter high).
The hotel provides free lockers to avoid customers to bring unnecessary heavy luggage upstairs.

Location was high up so great for looking out towards the river and jungle. It felt away from everything which is what I personally wanted. It is up a lot of steps! I like that as my exercise for the day! But won’t be for everyone but if you don’t want steps just don’t go as you are warned in advance. Gert and staff are all really friendly knowledgeable and happy to assist and food was very tasty indeed too! Property is nicely done with beautiful wood throughout. Room comfortable and dining area very pleasant.

Absolutely amazing experience which I would highly recommend!! Gorgeous room, delicious food, superb staff and the most awesome views. Gert is super friendly and passionate about Borneo and we loved all the interesting chats with him. Ryan was a fantastic tour guide, very knowledgeable and we were so lucky to see lots of wildlife. All the staff were friendly and the whole resort was clean and beautiful. We loved the mix of boat tours, hikes and relaxation. Can't wait to return some day!

The place is stunning. The lodge itself is simple, yet beautifully nestled in the forest. The staff are excellent—knowledgeable, kind, and incredibly helpful. It’s true that the schedule is quite rigid, as others have mentioned, but we didn’t find it too bothersome.
