Good walkable location, about 30 minutes to walk to the old town. Lots of local supermarkets, coffee shops and bars nearby. Nice toilets and showers with no wait time.

I've never stayed at a capsule hotel, but I came away a believer. Great value for money and surprisingly clean and comfortable *if* you know what you're getting into. The bathrooms were good, with strong pressure and temperature in the clean showers. The hotel lobby/common area was pleasant. And the beds (despite being in a capsule) were very comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful. *BUT* you need to really plan ahead to get the most out of this place and your stay. DO bring some waterproof sandals/thongs that you can wear to the bathroom, both for convenience and for hygiene (public toilet floors and even shower floors have things that you don't want on your feet). Maybe even a more packable robe to throw on on the way to/from the shower. Have a drop kit or hygiene bag that you can hang in the shower stall. I would also recommend some hooks, clips, or bungie cords so that you can better facilitate drying your towel and/or wet clothing in your capsule. You MUST bring earplugs. Guests do generally abide by the rules to keep quiet in the sleeping area, but the beeping from the lockers in the next room, the sound of the sliding doors on the capsules, and some shuffling/whispering does carry. I neglected my earplugs one night and was awoken every hour, but otherwise I slept wonderfully with them in. Definitely bring your own reusable water bottle because you'll want to refill in the hotel kitchen or on the go and Bilbao is strangely lacking in convenience stores that sell water bottles. You can buy bottles from a vending machine in the hotel, for a blessedly reasonable price of 0.70 Euros. And, generally, if you're going to stay in Bilbao for a few days, you should get the "Barik" public transit card, which is only 3 Euros, but saves you big-time by riding the very cheap Metro, buses, or airport bus (you pay much less with your Barik than tap-to-pay) instead of Uber or Cabify. Or just walk!
