The fine print
In Spain, if you own a place for tourists to stay, you have to keep a record of who stays there. It’s a rule that’s not widely known. This record needs to be shared with the authorities, like the Civil Guard, to ensure public safety.The traveler registration form must be filled in at check-in with the details of guests aged 16 and over. The registration form must be sent to the authorities within 24 hours of the arrival or departure of the guests. And also, the travel registrations must be registered by the host in a travel register book, which can be in physical or digital format, with a minimum of 100 pages and a maximum of 500 pages.This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties.

The apartment was beautiful. It was very clean, comfortable, spacious and had everything we needed. The location was excellent, overlooking the Plaza Nueva. The host, Mercedes, is amazing. She really looked after us.

Everything ! 1.) The location - the apartment is on Plaza Nueva where you can find the best and most popular pintxo bars /restaurants in Bilbao. The Bilbao cathedral, La Ribera market, Casco Viejo, Gran Via, Guggenheim museum, Azkuna Zentroa and many other points of interest are all walking distance from the apartment. 2.) The apartment itself. It was so lovely, clean and had everything we need. It was perfect for our family of 5. 3.) Our host Mercedes. She was very thoughtful and kind. She made us the most delicious choc chip cake and hand delivered it to us on Christmas Eve along a nice bottle of Spanish wine. She was also always quick to respond to all our questions via WhatsApp.
