Flight delays and rental car problems put us on the road to the Lodge later than planned. But we called ahead and they were very accommodating, promising to wait for our arrival. Pretty sure we were the only guests and stayed in a very nice bungalow with king bed and full bath. Everything was clean and fresh. Since we arrived after dark, we didn't really appreciate the surroundings until the next morning. Waking up to chirping birds, beautiful flowers and gorgeous views, we knew we were off to a great start for our Costa Rican adventure. Breakfast was simple but very good. We had to choose from three different selections the night before. Fresh fruit and a plate of rice and beans and eggs was a great way to start the day. The lodge is located at the trail head leading into a rain forest and offers free access to hanging bridges which we did not take advantage of since we had a confirmed entry time at Tenorio Park 30 minutes away. Beautiful place, very nice walking paths with hanging bridges around the lodge. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
