Great location for us, as we spent the weekend in Tenterden, only a short drive away - we cannot blame our hosts for the potholes in the public road! Well equipped kitchen, which we used across our stay, and we appreciated the milk in the fridge, tea and coffee, and the bottle of local apple juice which was delicious.

The cottage was like a home from home which included everything we needed even supplying tea, coffee, sugar, dishwashing liquid, dishwasher tablets.

We loved the welcome note, the gesture of biscuits, apple juice and milk in the fridge. The cleanliness of the property, the facilities, the tennis court, the netball stand, the kitchen. The local information was helpful, we visited biddenden, Tenterden and Cranbrook thanks to the lovely descriptions given in the welcome pack. Loved the DVDs and board games. Loved the bird feeder outside, it was a pleasure watching all the birds and having the piece of paper with the different species to look out for. We live in the city, and so we really appreciated the quiet surroundings. The grounds are clearly well looked after and we did spot some deer. We also visited Bodiam Castle which was our main reason for picking this location. Also nearby is Rye and Ashford Designer Outlet.
