We were in Biarritz once again on our this year's motorbike tour. Biarritz is a beautiful, sophisticated and lively city. The hotel is situated very centrally and truly everything of interest can be reached by walk within kjust a few minutes. However, there is no full-time reception and there is no dining area directly attached to the hotel - breakfast is available in the hotel underneath. The receptionist, Jessie, contacted us in advance and informed us about everything we needed to know for our arrval. Very kind. My room had a small balcony which was very handy when it comes to drying handwashed riding gear. The room was relatively small but clean, the bed could have been quite a bit harder. All rooms are directly above a restaurant which is very busy at this time of year while this street is a true hot spot for bars and restaurants anyway. Without air conditioning, I had to leave the windows open at night, consequently it was quite noisy until the early morning hours.
