The hotel staff disabled our room keys exactly at 10:00 AM, citing it as the standard checkout time and claiming the system does it automatically. This caused unnecessary panic and wasted over 30 minutes of our time as we were locked out of our room. Such practices are inconvenient and unprofessional. The hotel management should take note and address this issue to improve guest experience.
