It was an amazing experience to stay in an old prison building. The location was excellent and the whole place was clean and well kept. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was well presented, comfortable bed and spacious en-suite bathroom. It didn’t have a tv but that wasn’t a bad thing.

La Prison has been sympathetically reimagined as a Hotel without being over the top. Loved the mix of artwork throughout.

This is a unique hotel and well worth a visit. The views are spectacular and with plenty of lifts down to street level its Ok for the less mobile. Right next door to the cathedral and a good little restaurant with 2 mins walk. The staff were very polite and helpful. Sleeping in the old cells was so different!
