The cottage was beautiful, very clean and really nicely refurbed, super cosy. The location was great, in the middle of nowhere with only sheep for neighbours but an easy 20-30min drive to the start of Snowden and plenty of other great walks nearby. The road to the property was very steep and narrow but perfectly doable in an average car. It had everything we needed, we loved the log burner fireplace and the hot-tub was great, lots of logs were supplied. Plenty of blankets and towels, and the kitchen was well stocked to cook a nice meal. The master bed was very comfy after a long day walking, and the shower had perfect temperature and pressure.
