Location a few minutes walk from town centre, opposite railway station which also provides low cost (£3.60) overnight parking. Room clean with a good view from the window. Good price for a basic hotel stay.

Limited choice for continental breakfast, area sitting in the Bar not very pleasant

Location was great, right near the train station, bed and room very comfortable, I hadn’t been sure what to expect as couldn’t tell about the area and condition of the property but was pleasantly surprised — a nice pub downstairs, very friendly and helpful staff helped book taxis to the Holy Island and accommodated us waiting for a taxi pickup after they had to close/lock the property late morning

The room was clean enough and the bed comfortable, great shower. Nice welcome on checking in with recommendations for dining. The cooked breakfast was lovely. Handy location for the railway station, long walk down hill into town though.
