We were looking forward to a half way break in our 2 week walking holiday on the island. As the accommodation was very expensive for 2 nights I was expecting a higher standard than we got. It was fine, but ordinary and somewhat too busy to really be bothered, or so it felt: a bit impersonal, rather like a city chain hotel, which is not what we expected. Location was lovely but the meal offering both dinner and breakfast were unexceptional. Infact, the breakfast lacked fruit, bread was cheap and they kept running out of things with too few staff to notice. Room was comfortable and clean.
