The staff were excellent. We were badly let down at another property after arriving to find it had been closed for at least 2 years. We made this emergency booking late at night and arrived there 10 minutes later. To find the staff making up our 3 rooms well after a reasonable finishing time The rooms were basic but spotlessly clean and the property a delightful colonial style villa furnished like wise with a very popular fish restaurant open to the public.in the gardens. We were so grateful to the staff at Sumal villa we decided to extend our stay for the duration of our time in the area. Close to the beach and in a good location The property definitely offers a great value for money base.

Hospitality of hosts, location and quality all at a good price. Restaurant on premises was excellent and reasonably priced. Hosts even catered for my request for authentic local cuisine.

Sumal was fantastic. He helped us a lot, brought us to the river and organised private boat trip. Then brought us to a Buddhist temple and was our guide . Did not charge us. Such a nice man
