I walked from the train station - about 900m - all under cover along the central street heritage shopping district. Nydeck is at the end of that - ie convenient. Very helpful getting me oriented to the transit system. The hotel is near a spectacular bridge over the Aare R. and lovely walks along it. Everything is close by. Room was clean and overlooked the river.

The room was lovely, hotel is in the old town so surrounded by beautiful historical buildings. Breakfast was delicious.

Top location. It is at the edge of the oldest part of the city and yet very quiet at night.
