The hotel is located in an old building in the heart of Berlin. Despite its central location, the hotel is quiet. My room was large and comfortable. A bed, a small sofa, a desk – everything you need for a comfortable stay. The central railway station is within walking distance.

Central location, they let me leave my suitcase there before I booked in as I arrived early. Staff pleasant and polite. Will definitely book again.

Location was close to the popular touristic places. Every morning there was a satisfying breakfast. Hotel staff was friendly!

After reading all those bad reviews, I was really skeptical about Hotel Amelie, but as I got there, my fears cleared up and I was immensely relieved. The hotel is ok, really, especially if you travel alone for work like me. It’s old school, but sorta charming, like that retro Berlin Altbau kind of charme… And the rooms were clean and warm and quiet, no cockroaches or sketchy people or dubious smells. It was all very basic, but nice. So thumbs up for hotel Amelie!
