Hostel Overview

Located only 250 metres from Bergen Station, City Hostel Bergen provides basic hostel accommodation with free Wi-Fi and a shared kitchen. Bergen’s famous Fish Market is a 5-minute walk away.
City Hostel Bergen provides modern and bright rooms featuring wooden floors, lockable wardrobes and a writing desk. Bathroom facilities are either private or shared.
A refrigerator, microwave and tea/coffee maker can be accessed in the shared kitchen. Laundry facilities are also available.
Only 5 minutes’ walk away is the medieval harbour area, Bryggen, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. July - August from 09:00 to 22:00

Great location. Was able to leave my luggage and they messaged me when my room was available. You have a code so access is easy. The room was basic. The beds are comfortable but they have no curtain and the light by mine don’t work. I stay in hostels a lot and I accept a bit of noise and movement from other guests, but one woman snores like I have never heard before all night and another at her alarm but then was already up and showering and so it was going off for 10min. The lockers in the room are good. There is a desk that just takes up space. They showers and kitchen were good and the seating area with books and board games was excellent
