Maison Castelli is literally a walk away from all the beautiful places in Bergamo. The city center or Città Alta are really close, around 20 minutes walk.

Even though I never saw an owner or member of staff, the whole stay worked very smoothly from check-in instructions sent by email. The accommodation was relatively basic, but clean and comfortable, and good for the price. The room was cleaned and made up during the day while I was out. The shared bathroom was fine, and the place was quiet, with a good temperature and appropriate bedding. I liked the hot/cold water machine with tea/coffee available.
