The hotel staff was very nice and the check-in was smooth and quick. Room was as expected nice and very clean and offered all that we needed for the short stay. The internet worked well the whole time. The hotel was surprisingly peaceful. The hotel itself is located 10min walking distance from the main train station and bus hub, so it's great for traveling to any where around and outside Bergamo. It's also 20min walking distance from the old town. There are multiple restaurants available close by.

A wonderful place and location – just a few minutes’ walk from the train station, which was a huge plus for us. The area is full of charming spots, and we especially recommend the lovely café “Rota” located nearby – the perfect place for a morning coffee and something sweet. The hotel itself is very clean – rooms are cleaned daily, and towels are changed regularly. In my opinion, the pillows were incredibly comfortable – another big plus! Communication with the hotel was excellent – they responded quickly and answered all our questions, which we really appreciated. An extra convenience was the option to leave our luggage after check-out – it allowed us to enjoy our last day in Lecco without any rush. Hotel San Giorgio is a great place to stay – about an hour away from Milan and Lecco. We’re very grateful to Evelin for recommending Lecco – we only wish we had met you earlier! We both fell in love with Bergamo and Italy – hopefully we’ll be back someday. Maybe even at Hotel San Giorgio again! Grazie di tutto, a presto! 🇮🇹🥹
