I like the location to the train station however if you’re so travelling like me it can feel slightly moody at night time travelling back to the room as the street that google maps uses to lead u to it doesn’t feel safe. Overall had a pleasant stay, if your a lightish sleeper I suggest some earplugs as the neighbours outside were up at 4am on 3 out of 4 of the mornings haha! I did find that the room i booked with the private external bathroom was really really big for a double room but I wish the bathroom was next to the room and not down the corridor past the next guests rooms as it meant I had to be extremely quite not the wake the of a morning as I was up and out from 7am every day.

Our room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The guesthouse is a short walk from the city centre and train station. Ettore was a fantastic host and provided a wealth of helpful information and was always happy to answer questions.

The property is very well situated, in a peaceful and quiet area, but very close to the city center. It perfectly combines the advantages of a city center with a "countryside mood". It is equipped with a lovely garden and "garden kitchen" open for guests, giving anyone an opportunity to rest with a delicious coffee and biscuit (available for guests) after a hard or tense day. Bounocore Guesthouse is like a village inside of the city. Rooms are comfortable and well equipped. However, the biggest advantage is Ettore, the host, very friendly and hospitable person. Even when he's busy, he is always free to dedicate time to give you advice, to help you planning your trip, to recommend you a restaurant or just to have a small talk. I really recommend that place to everyone coming to Bergamo.
