We chose this location because it was convenient for road trips by rental car to Como, Milan, and Venice. The apartment is in an old building — not modern, but it has a cozy, nostalgic feeling, like staying at your grandmother’s. It was clean and tidy. One small but thoughtful detail stood out: there were washing machine instructions in several languages, and the hosts had placed the Bulgarian version (my native language) on top. That was a very nice touch. The apartment also has a gas stove and dishwasher, and the location is great — you can reach the old town on foot.

Spacious apartment in nice neighbourhood, clean, well equipped, decorated in traditional style. Comfortable beds and pillows. Great location, cca 15min walk to Citta Alta and Citta Bassa. Bus line 1 stop is a short walk from the apartment (to take you to both new and old parts of town and the airport) as well as funicolare Citta Alta stop to take you to the old town. Easy communication with the hosts via booking. As a courtesy, hosts provide toilet paper and kitchen napkins which is well appreciated on your first day not to worry about such things.

Alle Mura was a fantastic stay which I cannot find any fault in. The location and amenities are brilliant and it is a beautiful apartment. I would recommend to anyone and hope to return!
