The location is excellent - just down the hill from Berat Castle and only 5 minutes wall from the bridges and lots of bars and restaurants. The room was exactly as pictured - bright and airy with lovely decor and high ceilings and quirky tiles in the bathroom. The bed was really big and comfortable and we slept well and we were given extra pillows and a blanket when we asked. The views from the balcony and also the terrace for breakfast were great. The owners kindly met us outside when we arrived and helped guide us into a parking space which they had reserved right outside (which you realise is very helpful once you see how hard it is to find parking in Berat). The owners were also very accommodating in making breakfast a little earlier for us than 8am so we could go on a trip to the Osumi Canyons. Breakfast was tasty and well presented with a range of eggs, meat, fruit, vegetables and bread/jams. Wifi was strong and reliable and the restaurant recommendations provided in the room were excellent - we tried two of them and had some of the best meals we had tried in Albania (City Grill and Zonja). Would highly recommend and would stay again!

We had an amazing stay at Villa Mishel and would definitely recommend it. The location is great, the breakfast was delicious, and the accommodation was very comfortable. The people running the place were extremely kind and welcoming. The only small issue was that the bathroom in our room had a bit of a drainage problem – the water didn’t go down easily. But it wasn’t a big deal and didn’t affect our overall experience. A lovely place to stay!
