Loved the location and the owners were super nice. It was a real home stay experience. They are very proud of their home. Breakfast was lovely.

It was such a unique experience to stay within the castle walls in Berat. Josiph and Anna were so welcoming. I wish we could have had more robust conversations, but even with the language barrier we felt welcome and cared for. The room was very comfortable (with an amazing view…we struggled with the decision each night - curtains open or closed??) The bathroom was outside the room but large and fully equipped.

I loved the location. Josiph and his wife are good people. Fresh beautiful breakfast. Grapes from their vines, fresh plums, peaches and water melon.
