This is a quaint hotel, located in a quiet area in the old town, it has a lot of character. It's family owned and it shows in the personalised service. My daughter got ill and even though they only have a set menu on offer they went out of their way to make her a soup-which was delicious. The ladies in the kitchen are friendly, the menu is delicious and our room was comfortable. They don't advertise too loudly but the New York Times wrote a positive review of the restaurant.

Beautiful room, comfy bed. If you love places wich are contemporary but at the same time traditional too, you will love Amalia Hotel. Really welcoming and hospitable hosts. The food is amazing.
