Amazingly friendly owner and his father. The owner was waiting for me and found me in the street looking for the apartment. The next morning his father was waiting outside my room with a freshly baked cake. Amazing hospitality. Perfectly adequate basic room with a good shower. 10 minute walk into the main town. Great value for money.

It was a lovely experience for us. The place was very clean and spacious. The host was very friendly and we received a very warm welcome. They gave us homemade cake and rosé lemonade.

The owner was very responsive and guided us about the public transport from tirana to Berat. Upon arriving to Berat due to heavy rain he offered to pick us up in his car with little cost. Upon arriving to the apartment the owner’s dad offered us welcoming drink. We had long chat with laughs. The next day owner’s dad brought us homemade cake made by his wife. They allowed us to keep our belongings in the room even post the checkout time while we roamed around the centre and visited the castle. At the end the owner dad walked with us to the bus stop where we were going to travel to our next destination. These people are truly amazing and kind. They treat you like your own family and will help more than they can. The apartment is near to the city centre approx 10 minutes walk.

My stay in Berat was amazing - the place was clean, comfortable, and full of charm, very close to everything, shops, old town, best hosts Ani and his Dad. Would definitely recommend
