The host is super friendly, always available and ready to help. Location is great, walking distance to onsens and town. The house has a great anime decoration.

Amazing place with a great location if you want to visit the Beppu hells. The hosts Tosi and Arit were wonderful and happy to provide tourist sightseeing recommendations and personal favorites. Even when I had left, they also provided me details on the spring fire festival event that were coming up, so much so that I came back to visit and witness the burning of the mountain (best view in town from this hostel). Tosi even brought us some Miso soup to keep warm while watching the mountain burning. The wall decorations are awesome especially if you're into anime. Everything was clean, comfortable and warm. Also complimentary toast with hello kitty toaster and tea in the morning, what a jam. Would 100% come back. I know because I already did.
