Loved my stay, it’s a beautiful house. Took a morning stroll up the small river near the house, It’s away from the regular tourist street, lovely.

It was clean, room was nice(almost because the window didn't close completely) and location is great if you want quiet area. Close to Lawson and 20 min walk from Beppu Park or Takegarawa Onsen.

Lovely old traditional Japanese house. The room was spacious and warm enough also in the winter. There was a nice smell of tatami mats. It's in a quiet area close to a small river. The owner is very friendly. It's cozy and clean. Also there was a hot shower. It's definitely a unique experience
