This was one of my favorite stays on our 3 week trip to Japan. The hotel was lovely, facilities were amazing and good value for money. I loved the public bath, rooftop pool and buffet breakfast.

The hotel location was excellent, close to the city centre and shops and a very short walk to Beppu station which serves trains and local buses. Also a very short walk to the longer distance bus terminus. There are plenty of restaurants close by and a number of convenience shops open until around 20.00hrs each evening. It is an easy walk to the sea and a small beach. There is an easy walkway which extends quite a distance along the coast. The hotel itself is very modern and clean with professional staff who are always eager to help. Breakfast is wonderful! It is buffet style and caters for all tastes. It can get very crowded if you don't get there early, particularly at weekends. I particularly like the idea of being given a card upon arrival for breakfast which denotes that the table is occupied, thus ensuring your table is still yours when you return from the buffet! My room was very quiet (I made a special request for a quiet, high room) and the curtains blocked out most of the light. The bed was very comfortable. I particularly liked having super comfy pyjamas provided. Many guests wore theirs to breakfast and around the hotel! The bathroom area is divided into a separate toilet, separate bath/shower wet room and a separate area with hand basin and hair dryer. It was wonderful to have a nice, deep bath while looking down on the city lights at night! Hotel and room slippers are provided. My only nehative regarding the room, is that there is a shortage of storage space for people staying for longer periods. Yukata for men and women are available to borrow from the ground floor. Available in a variety of prints and sizes. Water was provided for the first night and stored in the room fridge. Any more water could be obtained free of charge from reception. You just need to ask for it. However, the tap water is perfectly safe to drink.

The hotel was such a pleasant surprise! Modern, clean, great views, great pool and onsen. Loved that they let guests use Yukatas for free during the stay. The price I paid was very reasonable for the quality of the hotel.

Location is good,very close to the JR station. Hotel is fantastic with sea view. Roof top swimming pool and hot spring are great. Hotel staff are very friendly.

Modern and bright hotel - with spacious rooms and good pool and onsen. Parking was right next to the hotel - central location in Beppu. The staff were super helpful

Used the hotel as a stopper on the drive back to Hiroshima. Did not use any onesens in Beppu. For this purpose the hotel was a good option
