It's a home like place and the owner was very attentive and kind. She provided us a lovely breakfast. We had a nice stay. Thank you mrs. Wimala for treating us like your family .

Genuinely some of the kindest and most helpful people I have ever stayed with. I would really recommend to anyone, the location could not be better, the breakfast Wimala makes is amazing and could feed you for a day - the hospitality is so kind it's like going to your grandma's as a child and being given so many different things. They even called me when they saw it was raining badly and picked me up in the heavy rain for free when I was waiting for a taxi, they were just really helpful every step of the way, expecting nothing in return. They also arranged a boat tour for me, I would highly recommend booking through the hosts, I had a private river safari and it was significantly better and more informative than a more touristy popular one I did with my family later in the madu river. The driver was spotting chameleons literally camouflaged on leaves from across the river and I have no idea how, he must've been part eagle - we saw adult crocodiles, baby crocodiles, chameleons, fed monkeys, saw so many different birds and reptiles, learned about the mangrove forests and much more- for a far better price than other tours.

The room was large and comfortable, and clean. So was the balcony. There's a beautiful view over garden trees. The owner very polite, friendly and hospitable. The breakfast served delicious and lavish. Overall, the stay at the place was family like experience. Good value for money. Highly recommended.

Clean room with mosquito net and two fans. Secure parking for my tuk tuk. Friendly hosts (but they didn't speak much English).
