It was a lovely stay with very friendly staff. The upstairs restaurant is a perfect place to relax and enjoy good food. The service was excellent throughout. I would definitely recommend it.

When we arrived I was a bit dubious on this place as we followed the signs to the accommodation we didn't knkw what to expect. But once we arrived we quickly found this place far exceeded our expectations. An immaculately clean room, and bathroom, comfortable bed, fridge, super friendly hosts and a lovely labrador welcomed us. The photos for the room are spot on. A quick 10 minute walk to the beautiful beach or a nice lake near cafes and shops. 2 floors above us was an awesome reggae bar with amazing staff and a good kitchen serving up some delicious prawns and the best fish curry I have had so far in Sri Lanka. A massive bonus for me though, as a keen wildlife photographer was the fact the 2 tier restaurant above us doubled up as an amazing bird hide and I was able to get some incredible photos of the surrounding jungle canopy and the vast variety of native birdlife it contained. We stayed 3 nights but didn't want to leave. Only slight criticism is wifi was a bit patchy but I think thats a common issue in this area and no way effects the opinion on this place. Big thank you to the family who own this property!

Large room and large bed, very comfy and had a mosquito net if needed. The shower was clean and everything worked well. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, brought food/drink down to our room from their restaurant - they even had a super cute dog!
