Really friendly, with a great pool. Dinesh was great helping book a river boat safari and the hotel is in a good location for some nice restaurants by the train tracks. You can cut through the Amal hotel to get to Bentota beach on foot which is much quieter than Ventura.

Lovely place, wonderful rooms, nice pool, helpful staff. Ok location although not really walking distance to restaurants etc. Tuk tuks plentiful and cheap. Ayurvedic treatments (at a price).

The pool and grounds were gorgeous. The staff and owner were super friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and very clean. Extremely good value for money and so much more authentic and welcoming than a big corporate hotel chain.
