Good food albeit limited menu. Greta location for Pageasus Bridge/Beaches but also for us the ferry to Portsmouth

It was a great location for the early ferry the following morning. I thought we were in the historic house but must of missed the fine print that we were in another building which felt like we were in a basic airport hotel. It was great to have an onsite carpark.

The location was within walking distance to Pegasus Bridge and the D Day museums and the town facilities. It is a ten minute drive to and from Ouistreham (Caen) ferry terminal. Very well placed to explore Normandy, the museums and the lovely sandy beaches. Really great to see the area and pass through on the way to and from the ferry The staff member who checked us in on Sunday was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble and she was extremely cheerful and helpful despite being very busy. The other members of staff of which there were few were also helpful. The menu was small but adequate and very well executed by an obviously good chef.
