Leni and Yannis and family were the best. Nothing was too much trouble. We were probably their most disorganised guests and lacked a car but they were full of advice and help lol :) Most hilarious when we missed a bus for a tour but Leni was on it trying to help us. For me couldn't get enough of the views. It is quite close to a fairly busy main road but look up to the back, lovely mountains, and look out ahead, the sea which you can see from all eatery areas in the hotel. Comparing experiences with other people at 5 * hotels on the plane home, it seemed like ours was utter bliss, enough beds around the pool, friendly guests with more beds than towels on beds meaning we all sat comfortably around the large pool.. The food served at the bar was delicious - try the club sandwich. The breakfast was super nice, tasty and local with a good variety of cold meats, cheese, eggs and salad and fruit. Some days there were omlettes or pancakes too. The most delicious chocolate cake I have ever had. I am a coffee snob so its pretty hard to make me happy on coffee but it wasn't too bad :), we feel in love with the Mastica cocktail. I liked the stairs up to the top floor as not only was it exercise but we got the fabulous mountain view at the back and amazing sea view to Albania from the front. We got a lovely gift of local soap when we were leaving which was a nice touch :)). Benitses is easy enough to get to and has a variety of restaurants and bars and felt a bit off the beaten track which was nice. Without a car you can do it as the buses are good for local and corfu town, but if visiting further away would suggest hiring a car or scooter so you're not at the behest of public transport and so you can explore more.

beautiful hotel and wonderful owners! very clean rooms, beautiful views from the rooms, delicious fresh breakfasts. Leni, thank you for your hospitality! one of the best hotels I've been to! and all thanks to the care and attention of the owners!!!

We had a wonderful stay - everything was super nice and pleasant! The place was very clean, the breakfasts were delicious, and Leni and Yanni are amazing hosts. They welcomed us warmly and were always ready to help.
