The fine print
Directions to Mango Home B&B: From Ho Chi Minh City head to Ben Tre city centre, connect to Dong Khoi Boulevard in Ben Tre and turn left (eastward). Travel on the 885 Highway for about 6 km towards Giong Trom District and Chet Say Bridge. Mango Home B&B is located 700 metres after crossing this bridge on the right hand side and a short 8-minute walk through the village.

Situated in a beautiful lush tropical garden, Mango Home is serenity and bliss, just 15 km away from the Ben Tre city center. Our room was very nice and sparkling clean. Staff is young and still learning, but very kind and helpful, they go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and safe. They have a 24/7 hotline for any help you might need with your travel. We booked their 1-day Ben Tre tour and had a lovely 4+ hours through the villages, visiting small scale industries and learning about the life of the people living near the river. Our guide was very knowledgeable and attentive (she also presented us with many facts about tropical plants, when she realised that we are interested in tropical flora). We used 4 types of transportation - boat, bicycle, tuk-tuk and sampan and had some tea and coconut candy in a local garden. It was a very pleasant day! We had the pleasure of meeting the owners and to chat about Vietnam and our travels. They are very hospitable and treat every guest with respect and courtesy. I warmly recommend Mango Home!

Loved it all!!! This was our second stay at Mango and cannot fault it. Binh and staff are amazing and go out of their way to make your stay amazing. We stayed in the new rooms which were beautiful...great aircon, outdoor bathroom and fresh water without plastic bottles. Do yourself a favour and do a tour of the local area, plus taste a hot pot at dinner. Yum!!! See you again!!! Oh and the pool!!! Love love.

I greatly appreciated the food and the room was really comfortable. The pool seemed nice although I did not have enough time to enjoy it. The staff was so helpful, aditional choice of local cuisine at breakfast would make the place perfect.

Mango Home is paradise! Surrounded by immaculate tropical gardens, the rooms are gorgeous and very comfy with great air con. The facilities include the pool, sunset deck, restaurant and multiple areas in which to relax in a hammock or comfy seating, either within the grounds or alongside the river. There are bikes available to use too. But more than the facilities, it’s the fabulous staff who deserve special mention for being so kind, friendly and welcoming. I was sad to leave after 4 wonderful nights!
