Great host and the location is completely beautiful. The place has such a cosy vibe, I felt totally relaxed the whole time. Betty was very generous with the breakfast/ tea and coffee/ farm fresh eggs and a great kitchen/ living area. Highly recommend!

The hostel had a great location, pet ducks and pig, horse which were awesome and great to look at. There is a big dining room/common area which had a fireplace the host lit shortly after our arrival. They had a lot of books and board games and the prettiest view on the bay. Great decor everywhere. Room was clean, and we had what we needed. Garden view was great, we watched the pig in the morning. There were full kitchen facilities, every tool you would need and more. A lot of cereals, condiments, spices and their own eggs! It was one of the best stays we had especially for the money! It grateful exceeded my expectations!

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time in the Lodge! We loved the location and mostly the peace and quiet that surrounds the place. The room was immaculate and the shared toilet and kitchen were also very clean. Betty is a wonderful Host that greeted all her guest in the morning while we were all having breakfast in the dining room (some of us eating her fresh duck eggs). We will definitely be back, staying for more than one night.
