You need to be aware that this is more like a youth hostel than a motel/hotel room which we were not. We booked through Booking.com so assumed it was like any other motel. The room was comfortable, and fine for the one night we stayed as a stopover. We arrived very late that night so let ourselves in. We did not meet any staff at all, but did talk to them en route and they were very friendly and helpful. There is a communal kitchen where you can make a coffee, as there are no coffee/tea making facilities provided in the room. Apparently there is also a communal lounge room with a TV, which we did not see/use. You are asked to strip beds and take the linen and towels down to the office upon checkout. It has a lovely Olde World feel about it, and has a beautiful view from the balcony. The bird song at dawn was so lovely to be woken by.

Exceptional Staff. Shared bathroom was spotlessly clean and very modern and airy. Outdoor areas with deck overlooking river, hammock & relaxing vibe. Kitchen has everything & anything needed to cook a great meal.

Beautiful outside area. Big kitchen with all the bits and pieces. Simple but clean rooms. Quiet place while still close to town. Lots to see and do in bellingen.
