If you want to spend time in a secluded place, close to nature, this is the perfect place! It is located in the mountains, surrounded by forest. You can see the lake if you climb 3 minutes higher. The biggest bonus is the silence, cows grazing in the morning, and roe deer. The description and photos accurately reflect what we got. The beds were comfortable to sleep on with soft pillows and blankets. The bed linen and towels were new. The summit of Monte San Primo is 1,682 metres high. The cottage is located at an altitude of 1,100 metres, and the lake is 200 metres above sea level. The temperature difference could be up to 10 degrees (we were there in the second half of May), and the central heating worked perfectly. In addition, there is a fireplace, which adds a special atmosphere. You can also take the barbecue from the basement and cook something in the yard. We liked the winding road to the town of Bellagio (about 30 minutes).

It's quite remote and the internet is slow - but in fact because of that you can rest. We spend there a week and it was nice, we climbed mountains around - was very nice. There are some restaurants around with local Italian food - mainly polenta. The biggest disappointment was Bellagio - pure overturism. I highly recommend renting a motorboat for a few hours.
